Your Second Visit to Our Westerly Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second visit to the office is a re-cap of the first visit and your first adjustment.  This visit is typically 1 hour long.

At the Report of Findings we do just that - Report what we found and how it is affecting your health.

First we review how our bodies heal and how our bodies break down. This is common to everyone and it’s safe to cover this in a group setting. Then we go over your individual findings in private and go over your best options for care. Like any disease process, we need to consider time, frequency and the intensity of your recovery.

Finally, we review your best financial options to cover the cost of your care (after insurance, co-pays, deductibles and all out of pocket expenses have been considered).

Once all of these details have been covered, then you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment by the doctor.

Then, you can sit down with the financial CA and make your schedule of care.

That’s it!! You are now on your way to recovery with safe, natural and gentle chiropractic care.

Dr. Chris Asks some important questions of interest to Westerly residents - Chiropractor Westerly Dr. Chris Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
